I really like it. I got the cover too that goes over it to keep it clean because it’s under trees. I found myself spending 30 min trying to look up how to install on trees I don’t know what’s up on your website but could only find the chair explanation. You need 1/4 but to drill two inches, and then you twist the hook in there. It’s really tight and solid. My hands were hurting so I used this little tool to help it worked great. Thought I’d share my tip!

8 Imperative Rules for Hammock Safety1- Always Remember that a Hammock is not a toy, a swing or anything other than a hammock. It’s a resting hanging device. If a Resting Hanging Device is not what you have in mind, you should look for a better suited product.
2- Hammock installation or setup can be simple or complicated depending on the terrain and the available structural devices. Check your surroundings, above and below, and make sure to choose suitable, mature and healthy trees or anchor points that can safely support the Hammock Universe hammock and its occupant(s). If you are not sure or doubt your ability to install your hammock properly and safely, then it is imperative and crucial you seek professional help to do so.
3- Never install a hammock high above ground. Your hammock installation should be resting inches above the ground. Never hang a hammock higher than 18” above the ground.
4- Always install a hammock over a soft and forgiving terrain. Never over sharp and hard surfaces.
5- Always inspect your hammock, your accessories, your hardware, and your structure before each use. Look for tears, weakness in all the above. If you see anything abnormal or doubt the installation, do not use the hammock, and seek assistance to immediately replace any damaged or worn components.
6- Never let your child unattended in your hammock. Direct and constant parental or adult supervision is mandatory.
7- Selecting the proper hammock is important. Some hammocks are easier to use than others. Age, weight, intended use (sleep, rest, lounge) all play an important factor in the decision making to purchase a hammock and safely use it.
8- Remember to always follow these rules to minimize the risk of a very serious accident. Remember there is always an inherent risk of injuries when using a hammock. Following these rules should minimize the risks but does not make it a risk-free device. Treeka Stores, Inc. Please note that ALL carriers charge a return fee equivalent to the outgoing shipping fee. If you decide to cancel your order once it has been shipped and choose to have it redirect to us, decline reception on delivery day, or simply decide or fail to pick it up at the nearby pick up location, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to deduct both the outgoing and returning cost amounts from your refund.

Hammocks* – Imperative Dos and absolute Don’ts
8 Imperative Rules for Hammock Safety1- Always Remember that a Hammock is not a toy, a swing or anything other than a hammock. It’s a resting hanging device. If a Resting Hanging Device is not what you have in mind, you should look for a better suited product.
2- Hammock installation or setup can be simple or complicated depending on the terrain and the available structural devices. Check your surroundings, above and below, and make sure to choose suitable, mature and healthy trees or anchor points that can safely support the Hammock Universe hammock and its occupant(s). If you are not sure or doubt your ability to install your hammock properly and safely, then it is imperative and crucial you seek professional help to do so.
3- Never install a hammock high above ground. Your hammock installation should be resting inches above the ground. Never hang a hammock higher than 18” above the ground.
4- Always install a hammock over a soft and forgiving terrain. Never over sharp and hard surfaces.
5- Always inspect your hammock, your accessories, your hardware, and your structure before each use. Look for tears, weakness in all the above. If you see anything abnormal or doubt the installation, do not use the hammock, and seek assistance to immediately replace any damaged or worn components.
6- Never let your child unattended in your hammock. Direct and constant parental or adult supervision is mandatory.
7- Selecting the proper hammock is important. Some hammocks are easier to use than others. Age, weight, intended use (sleep, rest, lounge) all play an important factor in the decision making to purchase a hammock and safely use it.
8- Remember to always follow these rules to minimize the risk of a very serious accident. Remember there is always an inherent risk of injuries when using a hammock. Following these rules should minimize the risks but does not make it a risk-free device. Treeka Stores, Inc. (“Hammock Universe”) will not be liable for any damage or injury as a result of incorrect installation, improper use, or alteration.

Users must observe and adhere strictly to the manufacturer’s stated weight limits for both the hammock and its supporting stand. These specifications are provided to prevent undue stress on the materials and hardware. Exceeding the stated capacity may result in structural failure, which could cause personal injury or property damage.
Prior to use, users must consider the total expected load, including multiple occupants and any accessories such as pillows, blankets, or mosquito nets. It is important to understand that the stated weight capacity refers to static weight—the total weight applied without movement. Dynamic weight, which includes the additional forces generated by motion such as bouncing, swinging, or sudden shifts, can significantly exceed the static load. These dynamic forces place additional stress on the hammock and its components. Repeated use near the maximum static capacity, particularly when dynamic forces are involved, may accelerate material degradation and increase the likelihood of failure. It is the user’s responsibility to remain well within the prescribed static weight limitations and to minimize excessive movement to ensure safe operation and preserve the structural integrity of the equipment.
B. Selection of Appropriate Hammock Stand
Selection of a compatible hammock stand is essential for maintaining system stability and personal safety. Users must verify that the stand is appropriate for the type and size of the hammock in use. Use of a stand that is too short, too long, or otherwise incompatible may result in excessive tension or sagging, creating unsafe conditions.
Metal stands, particularly those constructed from powder-coated steel, are recommended for outdoor use due to their durability and resistance to environmental exposure. Wooden stands, while visually appealing and structurally robust, may require additional weatherproofing and routine maintenance. Adjustable stands may be utilized when flexibility for multiple hammock sizes is required. All stands should be equipped with non-slip feet or stabilizing caps to prevent displacement on various surface types.
C. Anchoring and Attachment Procedures

Failure to maintain the hammock system may void any warranties and increases the risk of personal injury.
F. Common Misuse and Risk Mitigation
