This hammock combines the soft comfort of a thin string, Mayan hammock with more resistance to accidental tearing of threads. I am very happy with this hammock.

Really love this hammock. I think getting a hammock in general is a great move if you want to disconnect more often and read more or just take naps outside like i’ve been! I have it set up where i can quickly connect and disconnect from two trees so it makes things easy. Have already gotten a lot of good use of it and im looking to go to parks to use it there. Definitely glad i got it and this specific hammock feels and looks great!

It was such a pleasure dealing with Hammock Universe. I couldn't believe how nice they were from the lady I placed my order with, the greatest confirmation letter that made my day and receiving my hammock stand in just a few days. It was easy to put together, even this 80+ yr. old lady could do it. It is very sturdy and arrived in perfect condition and I am sure that is because it was put "into the finest FedEx box money can buy". I don't ever remember doing business with a company that was so nice and had such a great sense of humor. Makes me want to order something else - maybe Christmas shopping.

No need to drill holes in trees for bolts or use rope with knots.
These are solid construction and very easy to install.

A perfect replacement for a hammock I bought several years ago while in Riveira Maya. Strung on the boat dock it is comfortable and rocks with the waves. A favorite after lunch spot for my weekends. Thanks!

- keeps it covered when not in use and protects from twigs & leaves - then I'll leave it on over winter - no need to unhook and store the hammock.

I have been sleeping in a Columbian style double hammock for about ten years, so I decided to get a spare hammock while they were on sale. This one is a bit thinner and lighter than my other one, so better for this time of the year with the heat. I love them both. They are very well made and my old one does not look old at all. I washed it recently, and it is easy to do.

These straps appear very heavy duty and came with 2 black carabiners rather than S hooks. I watched the video to learn exactly how to attach the straps to our trees and I had success immediately. The grandkids are visiting next week and we are excited to finally put our hammock up since moving to our new home nearly 3 years ago.

I wanted to order a really nice quality stand (not something cheap and flimsy that would easily bend from a big box retailer) and this was EXACTLY what I got from Hammock Universe. The stand is so heavy duty, but was very easy to assemble myself and shipped/delivered so quickly. I highly recommend this, GREAT value!

Really well made and high quality. It's just like the hammocks that we had growing up that were brought from Mexico and sold between family and friends. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent product quality. Easy to assemble. Customer service was on point The shipper damaged the box. This cause the bolt package to fall out. I contacted customer service and within hours a new bolt package was on it's way.

Great Frame with easy assembly.was exactly what I was looking for as I have an extremely comfortable Mexican hammock I wanted to use inside. The Mayan hammock is a good hammock but not comfortable enough for night sleeping still a great day hammock for the family.
Sadly don’t know what I’ll do if this 1985 hammock ever wears out!

I have ordered 3 of these through the years and they are so well made that I’ll never buy another kind.

I purchased 2 hammock chairs along with swivel and added a spring for under the deck. These chairs are comfortable, fun, and perfect in our space!
